The 2011 I-95 Kickoff Classic doubled in size, and for Maryland-DC football fans, that's a good thing as eight games will be played over three days.

Headlining the event is Friday night's game between Gilman and Virginia-power Oscar Smith.

Gilman opened the season with a 68-9 thrashing of Maryland Christian, while the Tigers will playing their season opener.

Oscar Smith will be a good test for the Greyhounds.  OS is coming off an 11-2 season, but the Tigers failed to reach Virginia 6A semifinals for the first time since 2006.

The Tigers are led by J.J. Williamson, who threw for 3,400 yards and 37 touchdowns last year.
