Maryland Crab Bowl Begins Selecting Players for All-Star Game

Maryland Crab Bowl officials sent-out official invites to players for its third annual post-season all-star football game scheduled for December 18th at Bowie State University.

With the help of the Maryland Football Coaches Association, the Maryland Crab Bowl issued 44 invites yesterday with 45 more expected to be sent-out by October 1st.  The final rosters for the game between high school football stars from Baltimore and Washington should be set by November 1st.

JC Pickney of Douglass will coach the Washington team this year, while Brian Van Deusen of River Hill will coach the Baltimore squad.

Maryland High School Football Pre-Season Practice Begins August 14th

Welcome to our new look for the 2010 Maryland high school football season!

With the first day of practice beginning August 14th, I wanted to take the time to thank all of my readers, who have made this blog successful over the past three years.  I have bigger-and-better things planned this year with more original content.

Here's a look at important dates for the 2010 season...

First Practice - August 14th
