Taylor takes over for Mike Page, who resigned after three seasons. Bishop Walsh went 9-1, 6-4 and 1-9 under Page's reign.
Taylor is a graduate of Allegany High School, and has coach football at Allegany and Mountain Ridge high schools over the last eight seasons.
